This Friday October 25

Jeanette Acland

Treat yourself to a day of quiet creativity…

An urban retreat day, using art as a spiritual tool, is being offered by Jeanette Acland on Friday October 25, in Clifton Hill. We will use space, time, silence, art materials to help guide us into a day of quiet reflection into our deep, inner-selves. Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. Guidance, and all materials provided.

Recording of the Equinox Talk: Compassion and Trauma

Judith Richards

Judith Richards, creator of The Richards Trauma Process, delivered our spring Equinox Talk on 15 September. The recording of the first 45 minutes of Judith Richard’s talk is now up on the CCS website. You can access it here

Apologies that the sound is rather echoic. If you have skills or equipment that might help us with our recording of the next Equinox Talk, please let us know…

Looking for a community to support your meditation practice?

Meditate with us, Sundays at 5pm

All meditations are free, and you are most welcome to join.

The meditations are drawn from a suite of practices in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition centred around the cultivation of equanimity, compassion, calm, and clarity. The period of group reflection following the meditations is an opportunity to integrate practice and everyday life by bringing these same qualities into the interpersonal domain.

Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome, as are people of any religious or non-religious outlook. These gatherings are held in collaboration with The Contemplary.
